First Baptist Church of Lakewood (1BL) just got a new look! We're excited to see the look we designed for them over a year ago evolve into a more mature, modern style.

City Gates showcase: Grace and Peace Fellowship

Another day, another exciting new church website launched! Grace and Peace Fellowship in St. Louis is an exciting church with a storied history.



GPF was a great church to work with, and the process was extra fun because we got to partner with renowned illustrator (and friend) John Hendrix. John really got into the advanced features of City Gates - like adjusting the background colors of calendar items to match the overall look of the site.

City Gates showcase: International Arts Movement

City Gates is excited to announce another new customer launching - International Arts Movement! IAM is an arts organization that's based in New York, focusing on the intersection of the arts and faith.

Their mission statement says it best:

IAM gathers artists and creative catalysts to wrestle with the deep questions of art, faith and humanity in order to inspire the creative community to engage the culture that is and create the world that ought to be.

While City Gates is designed for churches, it's a great match for what International Arts Movements is doing - each local IAM group can function like a CG 'resource,' opening up powerful and easy-to-use tools like blogs, podcasts, photo galleries, calendars, and online forms.

Welcome to Westside

From Family to FBC

We here at City Gates are pretty excited - todays the rollout of a new brand identity for First Baptist Church of Lakewood! This was a fun identity design project, working closely with Lead Pastor Brent Eldridge and Music Pastor Jeff Zabel. We might do a post-op discussion on the process later, but for now - congratulations, Lakewood! The new name - and new identity - are both pretty sharp.
